NEW YORK -- U.S. activist fund Dalton Investments on Monday called for the resignation of a longtime director at Japan's Fuji Media Holdings, its latest response to a sex misconduct scandal involving a former host at Fuji Television Network.
Hisashi Hieda, who is the representative of Fujisankei Communications Group, "must resign" as a director of both Fuji Media and Fuji TV, Dalton affiliate Rising Sun Management said in a letter that day, citing his influence over the media group.
