JAKARTA -- Indonesian music fans are increasingly traveling to Singapore or other nearby countries for concerts by world-famous artists, leaving the government worried about lost opportunities for economy-boosting consumer spending.
Taylor Swift's concert series in Singapore this March highlighted this phenomenon. Indonesians were many of those filling the 55,000-seat National Stadium over her six days of performances.
