SEOUL -- South Korean entertainment agency Hybe plans to set up an Indian subsidiary, part of a global strategy to bring the growth model of K-pop to other markets.

The unit, to be launched in September or October, will market such Hybe bands as BTS and Seventeen, as well as look to discover and nurture new local talent. The agency said it aims to "export K-pop methodologies" to the market of 1.4 billion people.
