Blending K-pop and J-Pop, Tokyo boy band JO1 aims for global stage

TOKYO -- With their signature costumes and impeccably choreographed dance steps, boy band JO1 performed to a national Japanese audience on NHK's New Year's Eve songfest, one of the year's biggest televised events.

Viewers could have sworn they were watching a K-Pop group.
