Japan's Itochu to team with SKY Perfect JSAT in anime business

TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Itochu will enter the animation business by partnering with satellite broadcaster SKY Perfect JSAT, looking to distribute films through overseas streaming services.

Itochu will take a roughly 20% stake in an animation company to be launched by SKY Perfect JSAT in April.
