Printing company sees demand for character products from Japanophiles

TOKYO -- Japanese printing company Toppan Holdings will enter the anime and manga goods wholesale business in the U.K. through a local distributor, aiming for sales of 3 billion yen ($20.5 million) by 2030.

As a first step, Toppan will sell goods related to characters popular in the U.K., such as virtual pop star Hatsune Miku, to local retailers taking part in the Hyper Japan Festival 2025, which will be held in London from July 18 to July 20.
