TOKYO -- A nightly comedy show organized by the Japanese entertainment agency Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings is quickly becoming a major attraction for foreign tourists.

The shows, held in Tokyo and Osaka, feature comedians eager to connect with international audiences. Some performers tell jokes in English, while others showcase their nonverbal talents, such as balloon art, tablecloth tricks and even fart darts.
