OSAKA -- Nintendo is prepared to take time with the production of its recently announced live-action Legend of Zelda film "until we come up with something we feel confident about," franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto said.

"I know we face an extremely high hurdle in producing a film that will not disappoint the global fan base," he said last week in a virtual earnings and policy briefing, when asked about the risks involved in expanding Nintendo's intellectual property beyond video games.
