Saudi Arabia to host world's first 'Dragon Ball' theme park

Attractions and accommodations to be located in new entertainment hub of Qiddiya

TOKYO -- Saudi Arabia will host the world's first theme park based on the widely popular "Dragon Ball" franchise, Toei Animation said Friday.

The Japanese studio has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Saudi government's Public Investment Fund. The Saudi side will pay construction and other costs, while anime copyright holder Toei Animation will grant usage rights.
