TOKYO -- Sony Group on Friday upwardly revised its revenue forecast for the fiscal year ending next March, thanks mostly to first-half gains in its entertainment business.

The company revised its revenue forecast to 12.7 trillion yen ($83.1 billion), 1% higher than the 12.6 trillion yen projected in August. It kept the forecast for net profit unchanged at 980 billion yen.
