TOKYO -- The much-anticipated Switch 2 finally launched on Thursday, and with demand high and supplies limited, Nintendo has taken steps to ensure only true gamers get their hands on it.
In the lead-up to the console's release, the Kyoto-based company and retail stores across Japan took measures to prevent would-be scalpers from buying up machines to resell at higher prices later.
