TOKYO -- More than 50 companies including Toyota Motor and beermaker Suntory Holdings have pulled advertisements from Japan's Fuji Television Network in reaction to sexual misconduct accusations against a TV personality.

TV host Masahiro Nakai is alleged to have engaged in nonconsensual sexual activity with a woman at a party organized in June 2023 by a Fuji TV employee. Fuji TV has denied setting up the meeting.
