NEW YORK -- An affiliate of Dalton Investments, a U.S. activist fund, has sent Japan's Fuji Media Holdings a second letter dated Jan. 21 regarding its lack of management of the issue involving alleged sexual misconduct by Masahiro Nakai, a TV personality and a former member of the defunct pop group SMAP.
The letter accused Fuji Media of a "cover up of the truth" in a press conference Fuji Television Network (Fuji TV) gave on Jan. 17.
