OSAKA -- Japanese video game maker Capcom is finally making its mark in the mobile game market, albeit slowly.

The company collaborated with Niantic, the U.S. mobile game producer that developed the wildly popular Pokemon Go, to release Monster Hunter Now for smartphones in September. In October, it released Resident Evil Village for the high-end version of the iPhone 15.
