BEIJING -- Musical events, including outdoor festivals and concerts, are attracting China's young in droves, with revenues from the events believed to have risen above the pre-pandemic level in 2019 to an all-time high in the first six months of 2023 to June.

Tickets for concerts by popular artists sell out quickly and the increase in concertgoers has boosted domestic tourism.
