Group admits to manipulation of coiled copper wire specifications

TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Materials announced Tuesday that subsidiary Mitsubishi Cable Industries shipped coiled copper wire with falsified inspection data to five companies, widening a scandal that has plagued the Japanese group.
