PARIS -- The French and Japanese economic ministers will meet Thursday to discuss the future of the alliance between Renault, Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Motors following the arrest of Chairman Carlos Ghosn, the French official said Wednesday.

Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire told a news conference here that he will receive Hiroshige Seko, Japan's minister of economy, trade and industry, on a visit to France.
