TOKYO -- Nissan Motor is considering suing for damages against former Chairman Carlos Ghosn, a person close to the matter said Friday.
The Japanese automaker was prompted by the issuance the same day of a new arrest warrant, this time on a breach of trust charge, by the special investigative squad of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office. Nissan is weighing whether to estimate the full extent of losses it says Ghosn is responsible for, and seeking damages.
