No deadline for PC deal with Fujitsu, says Lenovo chief

Chinese company sees market finally bottoming out

LAS VEGAS, U.S. -- Lenovo Group and Fujitsu are still discussing integrating their personal computer operations, but no deadline has been set on wrapping up the talks, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing told The Nikkei.

The Chinese and Japanese companies said in October that they would enter into talks on a merger of their PC businesses. Fujitsu President Tatsuya Tanaka said last month that the company aims to reach a final agreement by the March 31 end of fiscal 2016.
