TAIPEI -- The blockbuster smartphone game "Pokemon Go" has been a hit all over the world -- in Taiwan, especially among seniors, for some reason.

At a park in Beitou, a hot spring resort about 30 minutes from Taipei, people seemed more preoccupied with catching Pokemon on their smartphones than the healing qualities of the thermal baths.
