OSAKA -- Sharp will release a 40-inch touch-screen LCD in early February as the newest in its line of Big Pad interactive whiteboards.
The Osaka-based electronics maker said Wednesday that the device was developed in cooperation with parent Hon Hai Precision Industry, also known as Foxconn, and that a Chinese factory of the Taiwanese company will be used to hold down costs.
