HANOI -- Takashimaya, an upscale Japanese department store chain, will enter the corporate out-of-store sales market in Ho Chi Minh City next year, aiming to expand its network of well-to-do corporate and individual customers.

Personal consumption is expected to grow in Vietnam, but there are few retailers offering upmarket goods in the country. The department store plans to expand sales opportunities by establishing a sales and order-taking system for corporate clients, and seeking to meet demand for gifts and office equipment.
