TOKYO -- Japanese casualwear chain Uniqlo will broaden sales of used clothing, offering spring-summer items that have been redyed and cleaned to price-conscious consumers as part of sustainability efforts.

After a trial run in late 2023, the Fast Retailing unit will start selling used Uniqlo clothes at select stores from late March. Depending on response from customers, the company will consider making this a full-fledged business.
