TOKYO -- Uniqlo on Wednesday launched a pop-up store selling pre-owned items from the brand at a store in Tokyo's Harajuku district, as part of a push to reduce waste in the apparel industry.

The pop-up is the first of its kind for Uniqlo, which is operated by Japan's Fast Retailing. It will last until Oct. 22.
