TOKYO - Uniqlo has been signing long-term sponsorship deals with top athletes under its unique, values-oriented branding strategy.

The apparel maker develops new products with athletes while they are active professionally, and continues working with them after retirement to not only promote sports but also engage in social issues and other activities.
