HANOI -- Top Vietnamese retailer Masan Group will add cafes and banks to most of the convenience stores under its umbrella in a bid to become a one-stop shop for busy COVID-cautious customers.

Masan plans to modify more than 1,000 locations in the WinMart Plus minimart chain during 2022. This will be in addition to 700 to 1,000 new store openings next year, which will expand the chain to as many as 3,600 locations.
