Shiseido ramps up Japan production to meet demand surge from Asia

Two new plants being built to satisfy thirst for 'Made in Japan' cosmetics

TOKYO -- Japan's largest cosmetics maker, Shiseido, has announced it would open its first new domestic factory in 36 years, and double capacity at another plant, to meet surging demand for its products around Asia and from tourists visiting the country.
