Singapore to roll out diamond-trading platform in September

SINGAPORE -- Diamonds will soon join gold and iron ore on the list of electronically tradable commodities in Singapore.

     Singapore Diamond Investment Exchange (SDiX), a company backed by a subsidiary of state investor Temasek Holdings and a group of investors including Jim Rogers, recently announced the world's first electronic exchange for physically settled diamonds will go live in September.
