SINGAPORE -- Singapore Telecommunications is tapping into Japan's underserved cybersecurity market through a tie-up with Japanese system integration company TIS. With a cybersecurity operation center to open in Tokyo next year, Singtel aims to offer its security service to Japanese businesses.
Singtel's 98%-owned subsidiary Trustwave is opening the security operation center "right at the heart of Tokyo" in early 2017, Bill Chang, CEO for the enterprise business of Singtel told the Nikkei Asian Review on Thursday.
