JAKARTA -- In a small two-story building south of Jakarta, trainers in a dozen classrooms with about 20 men each highlight the importance of safe driving, good manners, personal hygiene and using their meter.
Noni Purnomo, president and director of Blue Bird Group Holding, parent of Indonesia's largest taxi operator, said, "We don't want drivers who are scary or smelly."
