South Korea's Kepco to run nuclear reactors in UAE

SEOUL -- South Korea's top electric utility signed a 54 trillion won ($47.9 billion) deal to operate four nuclear reactors it is currently constructing in the United Arab Emirates.

Korea Electric Power, or Kepco, will operate the units for 60 years. The company was awarded the construction contract by Emirates Nuclear Energy in 2009, and was expected to win a contract to run them as well.
