SINGAPORE -- Eureka Robotics, a spinoff from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is entering the U.S. market next year and expanding its presence in Japan following a $10.5 million equity funding round.

According to people familiar with the deal, the latest funding was led by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin's investment firm B Capital and joined by Airbus Ventures, Japanese trading firm Maruka Corp. and Singaporean early-stage investor G.K. Goh Ventures. Other investors include existing shareholder the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners.
