TOKYO -- Almost all of the world's top suppliers of chipmaking equipment are on track to gain in revenue this quarter, company and market forecasts show, indicating a reversal in the global market downturn.
Eight out of nine leading device makers are on pace to beat quarterly revenue from a year ago. In the previous quarter, six of the nine saw sales decrease.
