TOKYO -- The chemicals made at Osaka Organic Chemical Industry can cost thousands of dollars per kilogram and are essential for some of the world's most advanced chipmaking technologies.

Now the Japanese company is expecting a boost in sales thanks to the growing adoption of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography by companies like Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and Samsung Electronics that are ramping up their use of the cutting-edge production technology.
