SAN JOSE, California -- Nvidia is not involved in any ongoing negotiations with TSMC about taking over Intel's contract chipmaking business, CEO Jensen Huang said Wednesday.

Reuters reported earlier this month that TSMC has pitched plans for a joint venture to Nvidia and other American chip majors that would allow the Taiwanese chipmaking giant to run Intel's troubled foundry division while adding more capacity to manufacture semiconductors for its clients in the U.S.
