PALO ALTO, U.S. -- American chip giant Nvidia reported another quarter of blockbuster earnings Tuesday as demand for AI chips continued to grow while companies around the world race to build next-generation artificial-intelligence-powered products.

Nvidia warned that sales in China will "decline significantly" in the ongoing fourth fiscal quarter -- the first full quarter in which the latest U.S. export restrictions are in effect. But the company is working on new, compliant products for the China market and said it is pursuing export licenses for some Chinese clients.
