SEOUL -- Samsung Electronics says it is considering relocating production of some of its TVs and home appliances to cope with President Donald Trump's tariffs, while U.S. chip export curbs are already hurting its business in China.

The South Korean tech giant on Wednesday reported a 62% quarter-on-quarter fall in operating profit at its chipmaking unit for the first three months of the year.
