NEW DELHI -- India rolled out the red carpet for global chipmakers during Wednesday's opening of Semicon India, the semiconductor expo marking the country's full-fledged entry into the industry.
"This is the right time to be in India," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during a keynote address at the event, which took place just outside of the capital New Delhi.
