TOKYO -- Japanese industrial water company Organo, a key supplier for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., has increased its stock price by around a factor of 10 in five years, buoyed by technological prowess and a resistance to swings in the chip market.

But despite the investor interest, further growth hinges on the company's ability to bolster asset efficiency.
