TOKYO -- Japanese manufacturers Toshiba, Denso and Rohm have begun developing power chip technology that will cut electricity loss in half, seeking to put the products on the market by the end of the decade.
Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage will work on power chips used for renewable energy and data center serves. Denso will develop tech for devices used in electrified vehicles while Rohm will focus on technology for industrial equipment.
