HANOI -- Vietnam's National Assembly is looking to simplify procedures for investing in semiconductors and other industries to attract more foreign companies, according to Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung.

The country will "change its way of thinking from pre-screening to post-screening" for investment in high-tech industries, Dung told reporters Thursday in Hanoi.
