Apple unveils 5G iPhone SE to peel away Android users

PALO ALTO, U.S. -- Apple revealed a new 5G budget iPhone at the company's first launch event of the year on Tuesday, seeking to win over market share from lower-cost Android phones.

Livestreaming from Apple Park in California, the latest iPhone SE was one several new products at the company's spring event. The U.S. tech giant also introduced a new iPad Air and an upgraded Mac desktop, as well as the latest Apple M1 Ultra chip.
