AI drives global syndicated lending to record $6tn in 2024

TOKYO -- Syndicated loans surged 35% globally last year to roughly $6 trillion, marking the highest volume on record fueled by the artificial intelligence race.

This is the first time in three years syndicated lending increased, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group. It is the highest figure since comparable data started being kept in 1980.
