BANGKOK -- Siam AI, the first Nvidia cloud partner in Thailand, is aiming to build this year the country's largest data center with a capacity of 100 megawatts, and to double its size in 2026, its founder and CEO told Nikkei Asia in an exclusive interview.

The $4 billion investment -- for the full 200MW -- has a buy-in from some of Thailand's leading conglomerates, who are vying to supply infrastructure for artificial intelligence and deliver applications to the mass market by leveraging Thailand's land and energy resources. Siam AI has a registered capital of 695 million baht ($20.6 million) but declined to name any of the investors.
