SEOUL -- The race is on to develop next-generation memory that can cope with the explosive increase in data processing demanded by artificial intelligence.

Samsung Electronics is leading the way in candidate technology Compute Express Link memory. It plans to begin shipments in the second half of 2024, after which the market is set to take off.
