WASHINGTON -- Many Asian businesses and public officials were among the thousands of visitors who descended upon a convention center near Washington this week for the largest annual American conference aimed at attracting foreign direct investment.
"The bottom line is this: There has never been a better time to invest in America than today," President Joe Biden said in a brief recorded address to the SelectUSA Investment Summit, a four-day event ending Wednesday.
