HONG KONG -- Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD will deploy its most advanced self-driving system in nearly all of its models in order to make the technology accessible to everyone and "democratize intelligent driving," the Tesla rival said on Monday.

In a press conference at the automaker's global headquarters in Shenzhen on Monday night, BYD founder Wang Chuanfu introduced three versions of the company's latest "God's Eye" autopilot system, which he said can achieve "over 1,000 kilometers of autonomous driving without intervention and has a 99% success rate for valet parking."
