SHANGHAI -- The CES Asia electronics show here is a haven for Chinese technology startups, connecting young entrepreneurs with a burgeoning middle class hungry for innovative offerings.
The expo, running Wednesday to Friday, is a far more subdued affair than the famed International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. CES Asia's 2015 inaugural show filled just two of the 17 convention halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The tally is up to four halls this year, hosting 350 companies -- an increase of 70% -- from 23 countries and regions.
