China drone expo highlights growing 'low-altitude economy'

GUANGZHOU --An annual drone exhibition kicked off on Friday with around 500 companies showing off products, up about 100 from the last event, as Beijing works to develop industries in the so-called low-altitude economy.

This is the eighth iteration of the Drone World Congress and the largest yet, organizers say, attracting people and companies from over 100 countries.
