LAS VEGAS -- One of China's largest tutoring companies is stepping up efforts to bring its domestic experience to the U.S. market after taking a blow from Beijing's unprecedented crackdown on the for-profit education sector.

TAL Education Group, which already has three physical campuses in California and one in Washington, launched a learning tablet targeting U.S. children ages 4 to 12 at the CES trade show in Las Vegas this week.
